The finest, softest Imabari Cotton Towel from the world-renowned Imabari region in Japan. This incredibly soft, highly absorbent cotton towel set is going to add a little pleasure to your daily washing experience. This is a crossover collection between Kansai Yamamoto and Imabari. Kansai Yamamoto is an extremely influential fashion designer in the 1970s and 1980s, one of the first Japanese fashion designers truly break into the Western fashion world.
Imabari towels are characteristic in that they absorb sweat and water quickly and are gentle to the skin, without leaving your skin feeling sticky after wiping off sweat or drying your body after a bath. Made with 100% cotton.
This set includes 1 x bath towel (60*120cm), 1 x face towel (34*75cm) and 2 x hand towels (29*29cm). Presented in a gift box, ready for gifting.
About Imabri Towels
Imabari prefecture is a centre for traditional weaving and cotton products in Japan. Imabari is also Japan's largest towel production area. The region is blessed with soft water with very little content of heavy metals. Imabari towel standards stipulate that a towel must be set to the bottom of water within 5 seconds of placement in water (precipitation method). This is to test a new towel's ability to soak up water without having to be washed first before use.
