Tetsubin, which literally means iron pot, are Japanese cast iron kettles equipped with a top handle, a lid, and a pouring spout. Traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies, as Japanese teas are refined and delicate, the tea’s after-taste becomes sweeter and rounder when the water is boiled in a cast-iron kettle.
This cast iron teapot is built to last a lifetime with a durable enamel-coated interior to prevent rusting and requires minimal care. Perfect for boiled water to steep tea, this teapot features a stainless steel tea infuser, allowing you to brew loose leaf teas to the perfect intensity.
