In 2016 to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of the Death of William Shakespeare, the Royal Mint released a limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated William Shakespeare £2 Two Pound three-coin set.
Honouring one of literatures true greats, William Shakespeare, the 2016 £2 Shakespeare three-coin set is superbly designed. The reverse of each coin depicts aspects of William Shakespeare's famous work, featuring a Jesters Hat & Stick, a Crown & Dagger, and a Skull & Rose respectively, each of these bimetal coins commemorates Shakespeare and his greatest works.
The obverse of all three of the coins depict Jody Clark's Fifth Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
