This green Japanese Furoshiki features a famously illustrated scroll named "Choju-Giga" which is a caricature picture scroll depicting anthropomorphic animals and their playfulness, dating from the mid-12th to mid-13th centuries. It is designated as a Japanese national treasure. Its free and cheerful style of drawing is known as the origin of modern comics and animations. The fabric, with its prominent weave, is made of cotton which has a reasonably firm texture and is easy to use.
