Musubi 50 Boar family Art Brut Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth

Art Brut

Art Brut is “Fine art” in French. Existing artistic concepts and techniques, spring up urge and not fixed fashion. It’s coined word for free expressed art. Three organizations that support and introduce artists collaborated with people with disabilities with “Musubi”, and making energetic Furoshiki was born. A portion of the sales will become profits for the artists.

He’s been drawing animals and plants for 30 years. He discovered the theme of the animal through travelling or looking at brochures. He does not do any sketches before he does the final drawing. His unique style and the deformed motif he creates can be called “TSUCHIYA Style”. You will be fascinated with the vivid colours of his work.

Tensai Art KYOTO

“Tensai Art” is named for the great sensitivity and power of expression of talented artists who have disabilities. NPO Disability Art Arts Organization “Tensai Art KYOTO” opened their atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, they support and promote activity for artists.
